Here are some other sites that I think are pretty rad:
Geek Related
KINECTaku – A site dedicated solely to news and reviews for Xbox 360′s Kinect. It’s run by the guys from NintendoLife, so it’s top notch. Plus, y’know, I write for them too.
Daizenshuu EX – Hands-down the best Dragon Ball site on the internet, and it has been for 13 years. The weekly podcast is awesome.
Design Space – A blog about Magic and video games by my good friend Gavin. Gavin and I go waaaayyyy back and as time goes on I feel like he and I are becoming better and better friends. He’s one of the most insightful people I know and he’s honestly a much better writer than I am, and as such his blog is a fantastic read.
Comics I Read
>Penny Arcade – If you haven’t heard of Penny Arcade, then hi, welcome to the internet! This must be your first time.
PVP – Pretty much a sitcom in comic strip form. I’ve been following it for years.
Real Life – I used to think it was awesome that I lived in the same city as Greg Dean. I don’t anymore.
Brawl in the Family – Usually I don’t like comics that rely on “borrowed” characters, but man BitF is funny.
Questionable Content – Not gaming related, but it’s honestly the best webcomic the internet has ever seen. EVER.
Misfile – I remember seeing ads for this on other webcomics so I finally clicked over. I went through the entire archive in two days. It’s a story of a pot-headed angel named Rumisiel who accidentally “misfiles” some papers, turning a boy named Ash into a girl and causing a Harvard-bound genius named Emily to lose two years of her life. The story is about them coming to terms with what happened and working together to try to fix it. The characters are fantastically written and I’m always looking forward to the next page.
