PK Podcast! Episode 5 – 02/26/2010

Guess what, Internet? It’s that time again. That time you look forward to every Friday… the time for PK Podcast! (…and the crowd goes wild!!! waaaooo!!) It’s me, Christina, hijacking the website again. I told you all you’d see more of me. See? I’m true to my word. We’re actually ahead of ourselves this week, and posting this much earlier in the day than usual! Go team!

This week’s topic is the Nintendo Media Summit that went on earlier this week, and the many announcements that were had. I know we talk about Nintendo quite a bit, but this is actually topical, so don’t blame us! They’ve got a lot going on in the first half of the year this year, so we’re talking about which titles we’re amped about!

Hope you enjoy it! We’ll have another Podcast up to grace your eardrums next Friday, as always. Also, don’t forget that I, too, am on Twitter now!

(Also, possibly worth noting is that I’ll be reuploading the previous Podcast episodes with consistent ID3 tags after I post this. So, if you’re an organization/consistency neat-freak like I am, and want to listen to Joe & I on the go ((because really, who wouldn’t?)) tomorrow would be a good day to go back and download the .mp3s! You can even use that handy little “Podcasts” category down at the bottom of the post to find all the previous episodes in one place!)

PK Podcast! Episode 4 – 02/19/2010

Woo PK Podcast! Episode 4! The remodeling is just about done here at the PK Tower, so we’re back to normalcy. For the most part, anyway. Tonight we just talk a little bit about some upcoming games we’re stoked about. It’s not our best podcast, but we’ve been busy, whaddaya want from us?

Anyway, updates will be back to normal next week. We’ll have a better podcast for you next Friday as well!

PK Podcast! Episode 3 – 02/12/2010

It’s Valentine’s Day weekend, and we’re feelin’ sappy. This week’s podcast is all about love and romance in video games. We talk about the role of romance in a video game’s story, what genres are best suited for it, and some of gaming’s greatest couples. Snuggle up with your special guy/gal and listen! We hope you enjoy it, and look forward to episode 4 next Friday.

PK Podcast! Episode 2 – 02/05/2010

Well, we made it before midnight so we still got the podcast uploaded on Friday! Woo! Apologies for the late upload, we’ve been working really hard on the apartment, with the painting and the wiring of new lights and what have you. We’ll be better prepared in the future, for realsies.

Anyway, here’s PK Podcast! Episode 2! Nothing super serious, just us talkin’ about RPGs. Give it a listen, and we hope you enjoy it. If you have any feedback, leave it in the comments, or shoot me an email.

[ Note from Christina : Apologies for rambling so much!! Happens sometimes when we go out to dinner... I'm of legal age to drink, don't worry. :P As always I appreciate any/all feedback from the technical side of things, I know our audio quality's not the greatest (we're using a Rock Band USB mic and Audacity to do this), so if you've got any suggestions for ways to improve it, I'm all ears. Also, we're using a new media player plugin, so it should be in working order. Let me know if anything seems amiss. As always, thanks for listening/reading! ]

PK Podcast! Episode 1 – 01/29/10

Here it is ladies and gents, the long-awaited (but not really) first episode of PK Podcast! In this episode, Christina and I discuss the Wii’s reputation as a shovelware machine.

The game we referenced and hilariously forgot the name of is We Wish You A Merry Christmas by Destineer.

Let us know what you think, and we’ll have another steaming helping of our sexy voices for you next Friday night.

PK Podcast! Episode 1 – 01/29/10

[ Apologies for some technical difficulties, we're having issues getting the media player to embed, so for temporarily you'll need to either open that in a new window and listen to it there, or Right-Click ยป Save As... and listen to it on your computer's media player. Sorry! We're working the kinks out of things still. Please bear with us, thanks! -Christina ]
