Hey all! We’re back with another podcast. I apologize for the lack of updates this past week, but honestly, without our Wii I’ve been kinda bummed out and couldn’t think of anything to write about. Sorry!

Tonight we talk about the Mother series, the namesake of PK Bloggin’!. Christina is a huge fan, and she introduced me to the series, so I let her take the lead on this one. She’s shy and cute and got a little flustered, so she’s afraid you won’t like it. So everyone be nice!

Ah… this week’s podcast. Right. We talk alot about MMOs! You know you love ‘em. Don’t try to lie. Final Fantasy XI, Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft… I didn’t get a chance to talk about Ragnarok Online this time but I wanted to because I love it! Joe doesn’t let me talk enough. Tell him you want to hear more of me. ;P

Oh, and I want to say this now – I do a way better Murloc sound than this podcast would have you think. I get nervous laughter when put on the spot so I couldn’t do it right!! I’ll try to do it again another time. Anyway… ’til next time, see ya! (Bonus cool points if you get that reference.)

Hello all you PK-Bloggin-ites out there in Internet-Land. It’s your friendly neighborhood Christina again. Long time no see! (Well unless you’re a member of the forums… Then you see me frequently enough. If you aren’t already a member, what are you waiting for?!) I’m here to bring you tonight’s podcast! We’re doing a continuation of our music selection podcast (see Episode 10 if you don’t know what I’m talking about) so I hope you all enjoy it! Please feel free to leave some of your favorites or comment on ours, either over on the forums or in the comments section!

Oh, so before you hear it for yourself, I kinda messed up. In the podcast I called the track from Donkey Kong Country 2 “Arctic Abyss”… but that’s actually the level name, not the track title on the OST. The song is actually called “In a Snow-Bound Land”. Just had to clear that up! Check out the full track-list of what we covered below.

Hey we’re back with PK Podcast! Episode 11! Your Fridays just got awesome again. Just a heads up, though, we kinda ramble in this one. We have to get back into the swing of things, apparently! That leads me right into what’s quickly becoming my catchphrase, “It’ll be better next time, I promise!”

Hey we’ve hit double digits on podcasts! What a milestone. This one is actually pretty long, because our topic tonight is video game music!

Christina and I wanted to share some of our favorite video game songs with y’all, and as a result it ran pretty long. In case you were curious about any of the songs we discussed, here’s a breakdown of our selections:

Hey the podcast is back! Hoorah! Tonight we play a little bit of catch-up, and discuss the perception of the stereotypical gamer. It’s a little disorganized this week, but we’re getting back into the swing of things after a few weeks off. We’ll be back in form next week.

The site I mentioned in the podcast is The Spartan’s Sanctum.

Also, if there are any weird audio hiccups or anything, when we stopped recording the podcast, Audacity crashed and broke the podcast into over 200 different pieces of audio. Christina, who is wonderful and amazing, just spent the last hour piecing it back together.

It’s our PAX Preview Podcast! I’m incredibly excited. It’s a celebration of gaming and gaming culture, and it’s in our hometown. It’s going to be fantastic.

PK Podcast! is back, for better or for worse! Not a lot happened this week, so we took it as an opportunity to catch up on a few things we’d passed over, and to go a little more in-depth on a few other topics.

The big thing is we’ll be at PAX East next weekend, and if you can’t go but still want to be kept in the loop, you can follow Christina and myself on Twitter, because we’ll be Tweeting about all the cool things going on. I’ll mostly be busy running around challenging everyone with a DS to a Pokémon battle, but you know. I always have a lot to say.

Episode 8 of the podcast will go up next Thursday, March 25, because we’ll be at PAX that Friday. We’ll talk a bit about what will be at PAX and the panels and events we’ll be attending. It’s gonna be awesome!

Apologies for the late podcast! We were at Best Buy for a couple of hours picking out a new TV. We’re really stoked about it! Our living room is FINALLY all done, and tomorrow morning we’ll put together our new entertainment center, mount the new TV on the wall, and then pretty much cut ourselves off from the outside world in favor of pure LED HD goodness.

Anyway, Final Fantasy XIII is coming out on Tuesday, so in tonight’s podcast we talk about about what “Final Fantasy” means these days. We hope you like it!
