PK Podcast! Episode 13 – 06/04/2010

What? Me again? Yeah. Joe’s lazy. You can tell him I wrote that.

Know what happens when I get control of the blog?

I link to things like this.

HAH. That’ll learn ya. Muahaha~

Ah… this week’s podcast. Right. We talk alot about MMOs! You know you love ‘em. Don’t try to lie. Final Fantasy XI, Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft… I didn’t get a chance to talk about Ragnarok Online this time but I wanted to because I love it! Joe doesn’t let me talk enough. Tell him you want to hear more of me. ;P

Oh, and I want to say this now – I do a way better Murloc sound than this podcast would have you think. I get nervous laughter when put on the spot so I couldn’t do it right!! I’ll try to do it again another time. Anyway… ’til next time, see ya! (Bonus cool points if you get that reference.)

I Take Having Fun Very Seriously

Aside from Super Mario Galaxy 2, which I can’t play until we get our Wii back from Nintendo, there’s really only two games I’ve had any interest in playing lately: Pokémon and World of Warcraft. I’ve been trying to think of WHY these are the only two games to keep my attention, and in the process I’ve come to realize what my motivations are for playing video games at this point.

Right now, I don’t have a lot of free time. I’m an adult with a full-time job, I live with my fiancé, I’m trying to run a blog and I have obligations and errands and things. When I sit down to play a video game, I want to make sure I get something out of it and I’m not just wasting my precious free time. What I’m really looking for now when I sit down to play is a sense of accomplishment.
