I used to live and breath games back in the SNES and N64 ages, but now I'm lucky if a game I want to play comes out in every 5 months. So, it is a bit hard to connect in the same level as someone who is new to it all. Personally, I really don't think there is a problem with quick, silly stories about F-Zero driving lessons and heroic chipmunks being in awesome games. Perhaps my attention span is just hilariously short, but I enjoy them. I just happened to stumble on a little blog by a guy with similar interest to mine and thought "You know, I think I'll keep up with this guy." rather then "He'd better have Pulitzer Prize material at my doorstep every day, or I'm a ghost!" tl;dr Write about what you feel like. Yes, the posts are different, but the quick insights and thoughts are a nice change of pace.
