Comics Again!

No podcast again. We’re really, really sorry. We just upgraded to cable internet today, but when we tried to get it set up, of course it didn’t work, and of course, tech support was no help. In the meantime, we’re back on our slow-ass DSL line. To describe it using my favorite similie, it’s slower than molasses in January.

Next week we are FOR SURE going to have a podcast I PROMISE. Believe me, I feel like a giant ass for missing two in a row. I hope all you sexy folks can forgive me.

But! I have more comics for you. Remember to click them for full size, otherwise they break the layout. First one by Jacob, other two by me.

New Pokémon games were announced too! They’ll have more information on the Japanese television show Pokémon Sunday, so look for my thoughts in my post on Monday.

    You look like Cloud.

    No one disses the FF8.

Also, when watching anime, I don’t pick up on the Japanese itself, but rather the weird translations and common phrases. Japanese subs always have the phrase “It can’t be helped”

    Personally, I didn’t like FF8 ’cause my second disc didn’t work. ;)

Aminoru crashing…? I’m trying to wrap my head around that as much as I can and I’m coming up with nothing.

Also, lack of Hiragana on the “Sugoi!” bugs me.

Now that I have that out of my system, lack of podcast was made up for by the smiles you managed to get out of me despite telling myself I wouldn’t since you had no silky Joe voice to provide me with this weekend.

Aha, that would be “taminoru”. I hate Katakana’s irregularity, yet it appears often enough to be a thorn in my side.

Terminal crashing makes slightly more sense.

It’s supposed to say Terminal Crossing. Honestly I wasn’t very good at Japanese when I wrote that comic. The only reason it’s all in katakana was because I was too lazy to download a hiragana font as well. *shrug*
