Looks like a great pillow, but I don't want to shove the wiimote down his throat. Looks Inhumane.
I'll perform Wiiwaa surgery. Much more humane.

Holy god...I want one. I'm totally going to use my nine month old daughter as an excuse to purchase this game.

Plus, I think that from a marketing standpoint this is a great idea. I'm not a fan of dropping fifty bucks on a game with single playthrough-ability, so I normally relegate those kinds of games to my Gamefly Q. However, I would never think of trying to rent this game without the plush and would most suredly buy it if I wanted to play it, and giving me a free plush Wiiwaa/controller cozie would help me justify spending my money on it.

Well, I didn't fact check beforehand so I concede I may be wrong about that. However, I do think part of that is that the American comic book industry has adapted to the anime and manga craze, as I've observed browsing my local comicbookery.

Well played, sir.

However, I do take issue with your assertion that the comic book industry is "spiraling the drain". The industry is doing extremely well and more people are reading comics than ever before... however, far fewer of those people are children.

In my opinion, the people who look at something innovative like this and write it off as "the cancer killing video games," are in fact the ones who are said "cancer". I think this looks like a great way for little ones to enjoy gaming.

Honestly it would have been very easy for the makers to say "hey, we've got this great gimmick with the doll that's going to sell, why bother making it actually do anything beyond shaking?" and just cash in on it, but they didn't! They made it functional and interesting with the different motions and activities (that jumping thing with it's ears? awesome.) and I give them MAJOR kudos for it.

I think the doll is cute too, and will probably get it when it comes out. You know, I can't resist cute little creature-things.

Like I told my roommate while watching the video...

It's dumb, but it's not dumb. LOL

I think it's a nifty and innovative way for kids to pick up games and actually feel like they are a part of it.

Two thumb up.

I happen to think that the little guy is adorable. I might get this when it hits the stores; it looks cute! Great way for little kids to play the Wii.
